Vodcast: It's a Mushcake!

Greetings dear reader, we are back with an unusually delicious new edition of the Jarthen Podcast: that's right, it is the debut of the much awaited "Cooking with Jarthen." Now you can cook your favorite Jarthen recipes in the privacy of your own home. In this episode, Jon is assisted by Intern Dani in creating the world's first mushcake. Bon appetite!

Recipe

You will need:
-Some Quick Oats
-A spot o' milk
-A good sprinklin' a' Big Chief Sugar
-A dash o' Domino Dark Brown Sugar
-Hammer mashed walnuts (ground to a fine dust, should be velvety)
-Cinnamon and Nutmeg to taste

Preheat oven to 375o. Simmer the oats in the milk until they reach a gluey consistency, with tender mush bits. Stir some of the sugar, the cinnamon and nutmeg into the tender oats, and then pour the mush into a souffle dish. Add the chopped walnuts and the rest of the sugar to the top of the mush, and place into the hot oven. Bake until it looks doneish (about 10 minutes), place on the top rack of the oven and turn temperature to boil. Remove the mush cake before it catches fire or gets to burned: Enjoy!
